However, both roughly four-year-old used cars come from generations that underwent testing in the same year (2017), which fortunately allows for a very accurate mutual comparison.

The Citroën C3 took away a solid four-star rating from the 2017 crash tests. The car demonstrated a very good level of passive safety, as clearly evidenced by the 88% score for adult occupant protection and 83% for child protection.
